Brief Description of the Project
SIDCUL was established with the objective of promoting Industrial development in Uttarakhand, providing financial assistance in the shape of debt, equity, and venture capital, developing infrastructure and assisting private initiatives in Industry and Infrastructure and implementing, managing projects, and providing specialized financial, consultancy, and construction and all such other activities to promote industries and develop Industrial Infrastructure in the State of Uttarakhand directly or through Special Purpose Vehicles, Joint Ventures, assisted companies, etc. SIDCUL intended to undertake a comprehensive assessment of 18 industrial sites that were transferred from UPSIDC to SIDCUL and 17 DIC Industrial sites that were in dilapidated situations to assess their alternative use including tourism.

- Marking of all sites on a map
- Site assessment reports with drawings for the respective industrial areas
- Identification of gaps and recommendation on proposed developments towards basic infrastructure requirements in terms of Road re-surfacing & relaying, Roadside drain, Water pipelines for fire fighting, Street Lighting, Landscaping, Solid waste management, Dormitory, Primary Health Centre, Common Facility Centre
- Phasing of developments and cost estimation
- Development of PPP model for taking of operations of industrial estates
